Day 1: Depart Sydney (Wednesday 7 Jan 2015)
Board
the Indian Pacific in Sydney Central Station and set off on a railroad journey
across Australia from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean. Travel in Gold Service
with an on-call cabin steward, complimentary beverages and dinner in the Queen
Adelaide dining car. (D)

– Check-in to the Indian Pacific Sydney Central Station Platform 2 and 3.

– Train departs.
Day 2: Broken Hill and Adelaide (Thursday 8 Jan 2015)
Enjoy breakfast with newfound friends in
the dining car before arriving in Broken Hill in the far west of the Outback of
New South Wales. Enjoy a complimentary Broken Earth excursion to the sites of
the isolated mining city. Reboard the train for the cross into South Australia
where lunch is also served aboard before arriving into Adelaide in the
afternoon. Enjoy in the wonders of Adelaide’s Central Market, the largest fresh
produce market in the Southern Hemisphere. Before returning to the train
indulge in a wine and cheese tasting. The train departs early evening for the
heart of the country. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Cook and Kalgoorlie (Friday 9 Jan 2015)
Wake
up to the breathtaking scenery of the Nullabur Plain. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch
aboard before your arrival in the stop of Cook the only stop on the Nullabur
Plain. The township of cook has a permanent population of four and one dog.
Reboard for Dinner before an evening arrival in the mining city of Kalgoorlie.
Explore the mining town to the Super Pitt with your complimentary excursion.
Reboard the train for your last evening aboard, with farewell drinks served in
the Outback Explorer Lounge. (B, L, D)

to 10:40pm – Kalgoorlie stop and excursion.
Day 4: Arrive Perth (Saturday 10 Jan 2015)
Wake
up to the outskirts of Perth with breakfast in the dining car before you
farewell the train in East Perth Railway Station. Collect your baggage prior to
boarding a complimentary transfer to your city accommodation. Enjoy an afternoon
at leisure in the CBD of Perth. Enjoy a stroll along the river; visit London Court,
the Murray Street Arcade and more. Return and check-in to your stateroom, then
head for a walk out to Herisson Island to spot native Kangaroos. In the evening
a Vigil mass is available at St Mary’s Cathedral. (B)

the Perth Metro for the train to Fremantle. First Visit the E-Shed Markets
Fremantle picking up some souvenirs or handmade crafts. Then leave in time to
see the Fremantle Roundhouse and see the famous cannon shoot at 1pm. After a
leisurely lunch in town visit the Western Australian Museum Shipwreck Galleries
to see artifacts of Australia’s first colonial visitors. In the afternoon time
also permits the visiting of the Fremantle Markets before having an Italian
dinner.

10:00am – Walk to the E-Shed Markets enjoy a leisurely
hour or two.
12:00am – Walk to the Fremantle roundhouse off Mrs

Day 6: Perth (Monday 12 Jan 2015)
Enjoy
a late breakky in the Café before having a leisurely stroll to the WACA stadium
for a tour of the home of cricket in Western Australia. Then walk through
Queens garden on your way to the Perth Mint. At the mint enjoy a famous Gold
Pouring, and try lifting a gold block. After the mint take the bus to the other
side of the city and visit Western Australia’s Parliament followed by the
impressive views of Kings Park.

We begin the day visiting the Valley’s
best fine food producers including coffee, chocolate, honey, art and ice cream.
Stop for lunch in the Swan’s finest, Riverbank Estate. In the afternoon visit a
selection of the Valleys best boutique wineries chosen for their ambience and
quality of wines.

Enjoy lunch of fish n chips at the fish markets. In the afternoon enjoy a
guided tour of the Fremantle Prison.

Walk to the Western Australia Museum to
see the historic Old Perth Gaol. Then make your way to the bus and travel to
the beautiful Tranby House on Peninsular Farm on looking to Swan River. Enjoy a
guided tour of the house and farm before having high tea in the Peninsular Tea
Gardens. After High Tea make your way to the other beautiful Woodbridge House.
Stop for a late lunch before having a tour.

Day 11: Rottnest Island and Fremantle (Saturday

Walk to the Barrack street jetty and
board the ferry to Rottnest Island. When you arrive make your way to the
visitor center and book the Island Explorer bus. Also purchase tickets to the
Oliver Hill Guns, Tunnel and Train tour which will take you all around the
island. Before you leave on the bus see the Museum, Lomas Cottage. Then board
the train to Oliver Hill Guns and Tunnels. Also be sure to get off the bus and
see the Wadjemup Lighthouse. Also see the Bathurst Lighthouse, Vlamingh
Lookout, Salt Lakes and Bickley Battery.

Island with Rottnest Fast Ferries.

the legendary Indian Pacific again for the journey back to Sydney. Enjoy a
scrumptious lunch and dinner onboard before arriving in the Mining city of
Kalgoorlie. Walk to the local pub in Kalgoorlie before boarding the train in
the early hours of the morning. (L, D)

Day 14: Adelaide and Broken Hill (Tuesday 20 Jan 2015)
Wake up as you arrive into Adelaide, the
city of churches. Here you will have the complimentary City Sights excursion.
The highlight of the excursion is the view from Mount Lofty Summit. Then board
the train again as you cross into the countryside. Arrive in Broken Hill where
you have the option to go on a tour to the Pro Hart Gallery. (B, L, D)

7:20am to 10:15am – Stop in Adelaide and
tour City Sights tour.
5:25pm to 7:45pm – Stop in Broken Hill
and Pro Hart Gallery tour.

15: Sydney
Enjoy the view over the Blue Mountains
