DAY 11 17/1/15

Today we woke up nice and early and enjoyed a leisurely harbour cruise to Fremantle before we continued on to Rottnest Island. The ferry took a very long time, but we enjoyed all the sights that we saw along the way.

Upon arrival into Rottnest Island we booked a ticket on the public bus there.

One thing that we loved about this island was the amazing scenery and view. It is breathtaking and a true asset to Perth. 

What shocked us was seeing seals, laying in the sun! We were impressed and really hot because of the sun.

All the scenery was breathtaking!

We enjoyed subway for lunch before we headed to the tramway on the island. 

The tramway added another perspective to the whole island. It follows the original tracks installed for the battery in WW2 to transport equipment and weapons. 

At the battery we enjoyed a guided tour of the WW2 Battery. What shocked us was just how expansive the place was especially with the underground tunnels. 

After this we took the tram back to the marina. Later in the afternoon we boarded the ferry for back to Fremantle. Boy oh boy was it rough. But we got to enjoy a sunset in Fremantle!

This was the best ending to our vacation in Perth! We loved the view we had and the clouds made it look amazing!! We said to ourselves that we loved this well planned out holiday!
