We had access to all areas with our guided tour, this included special rooms and the grand stands.
We even got onto the pitch.
Who would agree I looked good as a commentator!
Overall yes this was a great tour of the WACA stadium, but I would only recommend it for a cricket fan. I myself am not crazy about cricket thats why I didn't really value it.
Our next stop was the Royal Perth Mint. Which is where we saw the pouring of a gold block. Now this is a must see in Perth and we loved it. Unfortunately theres no photos inside :(
We enjoyed lunch in the city of Perth, and our afternoon was a relaxing one in Kings Park and the Western Australian Botanic Gardens. What surprised us was it was all native plants and trees, which i'll definitely recommend foreigners see.
Here's an amazing suspended walkway through the trees, which formed an extensive walkway through the park. Along the whole way we had amazing views.
The highlight for me was seeing an actual Boab tree for the first time. Their home is north western Australia, with nothing like it in the world. As you can see it has been damaged from its transport and is still recovering.
